We have many ministry opportunities going on each week to help you connect with others, grow in your faith and use your gifts. If you are a new youth to BUMC in the 7th-12th grade, we hope you will join us on a Sunday night for worship, small groups, and youth choir.

Mission Trips

2016-2017 Mission Trips

All registrations for upcoming churchwide mission trips can be found at www.bumc.net/register, "Mission Trip Application."  Each participant is required to make a $200 deposit to reserve their place on a mission team.  

Mexico:  September 9-18
This mission trip is designed to immerse participants in the reality of life in rural Tlancualpican, Mexico as it relates to the issues of hunger, poverty, development and global awareness through education and hands on service of various forms.  This trip is open to people ages 14 and up (14-18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian).  The average cost of this trip os $1000 to $1500 person.

Haiti:  October 6-11
This mission trip is in partnership with Restore Haiti in Jacmel, Haiti. While experiencing the culture and community that Restore Haiti serves, we will refurbish the preschool in the community and assist the Haitian workers and volunteers in building projects.  This trip is open to people ages 14 and up (14-18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian).  The average cost of this trip is $1200-$1700.
