Individual Care & Counseling

Caring Ministries at BUMC provides confidential care in the following ways:

Stephen Ministry - Stephen Ministry is grounded in Jesus' command to love one another.  Stephen Ministers are trained lay Christians who provide one-to-one confidential care to persons in our church and in the larger community who are struggling with a variety of life's hurts. To learn more or to request a Stephen Minister, please contact Sheryl 615.577.4881 or Rev. Allison Fasig 615.324.7243, Click for more info

Pastoral Care - The Pastoral Staff of BUMC visits area hospitals on a regular and rotating basis during the week to offer prayer and spiritual support.  Lay visitors and Stephen Ministers visit on the weekends.  Hospitals do not inform the church when its members are admitted.  If you or a family member is hospitalized, please contact Julia Todd, Administrative Assistant to Caring Ministries:  615.324.7256, .  In the case of an emergency on the weekend or after regular church office hours, please contact the Pastor On Call at 615.969.3086 - Please leave a message and a Pastor will call you back.

Counseling Center - The BUMC Counseling Center is a unique collaboration between Brentwood Methodist Church and psychotherapists in private practice. The therapists at the BUMC Counseling Center are not employees of the church. They were recruited to relocate their practices to the Counseling Center in order to support BUMC's commitment to making mental health resources available for children, youth, adults, couples and families in Williamson County and the surrounding communities.
