Administrative Assistant for Missions and OutreacH

Brentwood, TN
Reports to:     Pastor and Director of Missions and Outreach

Work Schedule:     Full-time or Part-Time (40 hours per week); 8:00AM - 4:30PM, Mondays - Fridays

Ministry Description: Provides administrative support to the Missions & Outreach department.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Competency in Word, Excel, Access, Publisher, Power Point, Outlook and ability to learn other computer programs quickly and use them proficiently (examples: child sponsorship platform, web page editing, facilities scheduling, and database management)
  • Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time
  • Great communication skills – verbal and written
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality
  • Enjoys a team environment and a job they can build, grow, and evolve
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of administrative office experience
  • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred


Marketing director - Center for Youth Ministry training

Brentwood, TN
Reports to:     Executive Director

Work Schedule:     Full-time or Part-Time (30 hours per week)/based on experience

Ministry Description: Responsible for planning, development and implementation of the CYMT’s external and internal marketing strategies, marketing communications, and public relations activities.  Oversees development and implementation of support materials and services for CYMT regions in the area of marketing, communications and public relations.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • University graduate in business, marketing, communications or an equivalent combination of education, training and expertise. Experience must include strategic planning, communication management, and marketing.
  • Individual must be a strong communicator, have excellent written, presentation, oral communications and interpersonal skills. 
  • Individual must possess strong leadership skills, be able to motivate and influence others. Individual must be able to think creatively and strategically, have excellent judgment and be able to work in a changing environment.
  • Individual must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point), Keynote, Word Press, Adobe Creative Suit (Photoshop and InDesign), and Social Media web platforms.


EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT TO LEAD STAFF - Center for Youth Ministry Training

Brentwood, TN
Reports to:     Executive Director

Work Schedule:     24-28 hours per week

Ministry Description: The Executive Assistant must be creative and enjoy working within a small, entrepreneurial environment that is mission-driven, results-driven and community oriented. The Executive Assistant will have the ability to work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.

  • Writing & Reporting Skills, Supply Management, Scheduling, Organization, Time Management, Presentation Skills, Equipment Maintenance, Travel Logistics, Verbal Communication

Nursery Teacher - Trinity church

Trinity Church, Spring Hill, TN
Reports to:     Early Childhood Coordinator

Work Schedule:     3.5  hours per week - Sundays 8:30am to 12:00pm  (part-time)
      Extra hours for childcare will be negotiated for special events and ministry needs.

Ministry Purpose:  Our Nursery Ministry, The Nest, provides a loving and Christ-like environment for children from birth to three years old.  Security and safety are superior and faithful care is a priority. Teachers are committed to providing a nursery environment filled with energy, excitement, and love where each child feels safe, happy, cared for, and valued.

Ministry Description: The nursery teacher provides Sunday School care and teaching for kids birth through 3 years olds for both Sunday morning services.

  • A love and understanding of children and their developmental stages, physically, emotionally and spiritually
  • Flexible, dedicated, dependable and highly motivated
  • An ability to work well with staff and volunteers

Church Administrator - Trinity church

Trinity Church, Spring Hill, TN

Reports to:    Campus Pastor

Work Schedule:     Part-time position – 25-30 hours a week;  Some evening and weekend work hours required.

Description:  The Church Administrator provides business, communications, and operational/organizational support for sustaining and growing the ministry of Trinity Church. Responsibilities include general office management and financial/bookkeeping support. The Church Administrator will be responsible for a vital communication link between Trinity Church and our parent campus - Brentwood United Methodist Church.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field highly preferred
  • Previous experience in Church Administration or Office Administration highly preferred
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, Website maintenance)
  • Demonstrated ability to build teams of volunteers
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and anticipates needs
  • Positive and flexible attitude
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Excellent people skills
